Initial situation: Dental implants are planned to replace missing teeth.
Pictures of the cone beam show that the bone thickness is insufficient to receive implants. A bone graft (machined allograft) is therefore envisaged at first to prepare the site.
Silicone template is first prepared on a printed model of the patient's jaw, simulating the widening of the bone crest.
An allogeneic graft is then machined, reproducing the shape of the silicone template.
Post-operative cone beam: the bone crest has been enlarged by 6mm, allowing dental implants replacement within 5 months.
